Can Custer Records Require Pickup?
Yes. In Wagner v. Office of Sheriff of Custer County, the court held that the Oklahoma Open Records Act requires prompt and reasonable inspection and copying but does not require the sheriff to deliver records by email. A request sent online may therefore end with weekday inspection or physical pickup. Ask the sheriff to confirm the available format, fee, office hours, and pickup instructions before traveling to Arapaho.
